Where is time going!

I just can't believe how fast this year is flying. I spotted displays of Christmas stock in Myer on the weekend which made me feel a bit panicky! Please don't tell me how many weeks to Christmas because that would be too much! I know we have had Christmas stock coming in for several weeks now with lots more to come but I convince myself that Christmas is all year round for scrappers (depends on when you finally get to those photos, never too late!)so it doesn't bother me as much.

We have just had a shipment of beautiful Colorbok albums arrive which should be out by the end of the week. These are well-made albums with some lovely designs on the covers. One of the best things I love about these albums are the way the protective plastic covers actually expand with the album, which means you can keep the album in near perfect condition (particularly the fabric-covered type). Most other brands require you to remove these covers as you add refills. There will be several more new shipments due this week so stop by & take a peek.

New Christmas stock!

Just arrived is the fabulous range of  new Kaiser Christmas papers, embellishments, board books etc to go out this week. The beautiful new Making Memories Fa La La Christmas range will be out by the end of the week also as well as a general top up of Making Memories stock. We have some new Karen Foster papers & embellishments already on the shelf as well as Basic Grey. There is lots more new Basic Grey to come over the next few months with range releases being staggered. For those people wanting quick & easy ideas for Christmas cards we have a great range of Francheville Christmas self adhesive dimensional stickers in stock as well. Over the last couple of weeks there has benn a bit of a lull with a lot of new stock being held up so we expexted to be bombarded over the coming weeks so make sure you drop by regularly to keep up with the new goodies.

Christmas stamps!

We finally have some more Christmas stamps in stock, including new release Hero Arts although not all our order arrived, the rest should be here in a couple of weeks.  We still have plenty to come in including embellishments, die cuts & papers. New Making Memories Spellbound papers & embellishments now in stock. We have some great new Collections products in stock - chipboard numbers 20mm high, perfect for pages & cards and each pack has 4 sets of numbers 1 - 9 plus 2 zeros in each set. There is now a lowercase alphabet to match the Baby Alphabet chipboard set - 4 sheets with plenty of letters on each, great value! New chipboard Bracket Frames, chipboard buttons and chipboard scallop borders also in stock. We have gorgeous new papers from Bo Bunny and Soccer papers from Carolee's Creations.

Card Challenge

Don't forget our card challenge this month. The theme is Friendship and cards need to be submitted by 30th August. You may use any products as long as they are brands we stock. All submissions to be accompanied by name, phone number and a list of products used. Standard sized cards only - no large cards and all work should be original. Prize will be a $15 gift voucher and winner will be announced on 1st September. Entry excludes employees, teachers & design team members from other papercraft businesses.

Photoshop Classes

Check out the sidebar for up-coming Photoshop classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced. For those of you who have already done the Basics 101 and intermediate classes don't miss out on Photo Rescue or Creative Play. Both of these classes will add to your knowledge with valuable tips on using more advanced tools to enhance your photos.

New Cuttlebug Dies & Embossing Folders!!!

We now have a good range of the latest release Cuttlebug embossing folders and cut and emboss sets. We are still missing a few of the Christmas sets which should arrive in about 2-3 weeks. The new designs are quite stunning and will go quick so don't miss out. Also in stock are some great mini alphabet and design stamp sets from Hampton Arts. These are a one off and are a fabulous price!

Only a couple of places left in this weekends Clearly Stated class - this class will give you the know-how to make your own fabulous clear mini albums (see newsletter for class description). Photoshop - Photo Rescue still has some places so if you have done the Basics 101 and Permission To Play Intermediate then this class will show you how to take those old photos (even those horrible orange-tinged ones from the 70's) and make them like new again.Other classes are waiting list only.

As you've probably noticed I've been a bit slack lately with keeping the blog updated. Now that stocktake is over I hope to rectify the situation. Even so there is still plenty to tell. Despite stocktake there still has been plenty of new stock - gorgeous Prima flowers printed and embossed, new Kaiser papers & re-stocks of popular designs, Prima Say It In Crystals, Basic Grey Euphoria (selling very fast!), new Bazzill Bling Birthstone colours, Little Yellow Bicycle Delightful Collection. The new Creative Inspiration is due to arrive in the next couple of days as well. Stay tuned ther is always more!
